The Bible says not to kill. Yeah, well I doubt even God had this kind of forsaken future in his dreams. And I’m not saying I know God, hell, I know three people, and one of ‘em is me. Well, that is, I knew more than three once, but I figured that it was just too much of a hassle. People have to die. I have to kill people, and the more people I know, the more likely it is that I’m gonna be killing someone I recognize. I can kill a man in less than a minute, and I don’t even remember their faces anymore…unless I knew their name. Then it sticks. I have a good memory. Too damn good. Sometimes at night I still see Gina’s eyes…those beautiful eyes. And Will, he was a nice kid, but when you come between a man and his rewards, someone’s going to have to take the fall. And it’s not even that I’m a overly violent man. True, things get violent in the wastes, but I’m not going out looking for fights. They have a habit of coming to me. But I guess that comes with the reputation….

You see, me and the rest of the Devil’s Brigade have been on the government’s hit list for a while, and we spend a good amount of time on some walking cities’ most wanted list. People always go after the guys on top…and I guess that’s us. You can’t just sit on your laurels and soak in the glory for long though, that’s how you get a bullet in the head. And I guess, those with the talents have an obligation to the rest of the people in the world to make some amount of change happen. Oh, and I bet you’re wondering why I’m writing this. Truth is, I hate writing…but with the situation as it is…if something happens up there, people are gonna want an explanation. When I say up there, I’m referring to that damn government satellite always hovering in the sky. The DB is gonna head up there and…well…we’re gonna take that behemoth down.

No one deserves to die, but if anyone did, I would say those government bastards are at the top of the list. It’s their fault the Earth has become this hellhole. Sure, covering the Earth in metal seemed like the next logical step for those politicians. And it was alright for a while…but then to go and leave? That makes no sense, not even for them. And as a result…we get this. Rust. And death. Lots of people dying. So know what, screw the bible, that satellite is coming down. And people are gonna die. But forget it, I’m done caring. I’m gonna make the sky bleed red, and some day, people are gonna thank me…thank us, for having the sense to finally do it.

If anyone's curious, the Devil's Brigade plot takes place before the main story of Rust begins.

Hope this is the slightest bit interesting. Tried to convey a character through words...not sure if it worked.

...to everyone who hasn't given up on me.

I know I've hardly posted anything lately, and I apologize (again!) for that.

I hope to be more active, but with a deadly combo of school, theater, and random stuff I do (if you want me to clarify I will certainly do so...haha) that might be a little tough.

However, I will be entering 's contest, and so I will be active in that respect.

Thank you for all the support everyone, and just want to say that even if I'm not posting I have been drawing a lot lately.
