The Forgotten Scarecrow

This is a picture of a scarecrow...I'm not trying to be sacriligious with him hanging on a cross


Created by an ancient magician, this scarecrow hangs as a grisly testament to the ancient powers that once flowed across the Earth. Forever binding the soul of a demon into a raggedy body, the magician hoped to have himself a guardian for all eternity. However, in this wizards greedy attempt at eternal life, his life was instead taken away, leaving the monstrous scarecrow without master or purpose.

Many years ago, he was nailed to a post , thought to be an ordinary doll, as the great magics inside of him had weakened over the years and put him into a deep sleep.
Then came the Salem witch trials.
The mass amounts of killing in this gory massacre awakened the demons within...and a black storm of crows surrounded the cursed scarecrow. It was awake...

I tried out a new style of coloring with this one...I hope you like it ^^
